How do I enter?

To enter, simply make a group B or U reservation between 1 December 2020 – 30 April 2021. Upon collection of your Hertz vehicle, simply request to drive a Toyota Starlet and you will automatically be entered into the competition. Winning has never been so easy!

Terms & Conditions

  • The Ride with the Starlet Competition is a collaboration between Toyota South Africa Motors (Pty) Ltd (hereinafter referred to as “Toyota”) Stand 1, Wesco Park. Old Pretoria Main Road, Sandton, 2146 and Hertz Southern Africa (Pty) Ltd (hereinafter referred to as “Hertz” 3rd Floor, ExecuJet Office Park, Tower Road, Cape Town International Airport, 7525.
  • The Competition is open to permanent residents and citizens of South Africa over the age of 18 (eighteen) years and in possession of a valid Identity Document as well as a valid driver’s licence or a valid Passport with the endorsed residence permit (“Participant/s/Entrant/s”),
    except any minor below the age of 18 (eighteen) years (“Minor”), or employee, director, member, partner or any person directly or indirectly who controls, or is controlled by, the Promoters and/or immediate family members of any employee, director, or person indirectly or directly in control or controlled by Toyota and Hertz – or its agencies, advisers, dealers, suppliers, its affiliates and/or associated companies (“Disqualified Persons”).
  • There is no limit as to how many days a rental customer can rent a Starlet to be entered into the competition.
  • Rental customers must rent any derivative of Toyota Starlet to be entered into the competition
  • Entry into the competition is dependent on availability of the vehicle at a Hertz counter.
  • Pickup date of the rental must be between 1 December 2020 - 30 April 2021.
  • Competition is only available at South African Hertz locations.
  • If renter breaches the Hertz rental contract T&C’s they will be excluded from competition.
  • Standard terms and conditions of rental apply.
